Software Engineer II

Lead development efforts on our open-source projects. You'll architect solutions and mentor junior engineers while working on challenging technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex features for our open-source projects
  • Lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks (React, Next.js)
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies or frameworks
  • Significant contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience with system design and architecture
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and serverless architectures
  • Experience with performance optimization and scalability
